* At 628 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Walnut Hill to near Elizabethton to near Bakersville, moving northeast at 50 mph. This storm has a history of producing damaging winds. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
