Flood Advisory until 10:45AM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Adams, Blair, Centre, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin, Perry and York.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Small streams and creeks are elevated near bankfull levels and may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 247 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the advisory area, resulting in minor flooding in poor drainage areas and along small streams and creeks. - Additional rainfall of 1 to 1.5 inches is expected over the area through the afternoon. This additional rain will continue to produce minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Altoona, York, State College, Chambersburg, Carlisle, Hanover, Weigelstown, Waynesboro, Mechanicsburg, Lewistown, Camp Hill, Gettysburg, New Cumberland, Huntingdon, Parkville, Red Lion, Bellefonte and Enola. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
