* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Potomac River at Shepherdstown.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, River Road is completely flooded in low spots between Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. At 19.0 feet, Water covers the pedestrian bridge adjacent to the Shepherdstown boat ramp. Significant portions of the C&O Canal towpath are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 8.9 feet, or 6.1 feet below flood stage. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 20.3 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.4 feet on 05/10/1960. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
