The victims from the fatal accident yesterday have been identified and next of kin notified. They are identified as Bettye A. Montano, female, age 51 and Allton J. Montano, male, age 21. This case is still under investigation by the Amarillo Police Traffic Investigation Unit.

At 11:57 AM, APD officers were called to a crash at 34th Avenue and Lipscomb Street. Two vehicles were westbound on 34th Avenue and made contact causing both to roll. Two passengers in one vehicle died at the scene. One person from that vehicle was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. There were only minor injuries from the other vehicle. The APD Traffic Unit is investigating.
