Major injury rollover traffic collision at Hwy 135/ Miller St. 
On 5/08/22 at approximately 0122 hrs, Santa Maria Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Highway 135/Broadway and Miller street regarding a rollover traffic collision.
Upon arrival, officers located a single vehicle in the drainage ditch/ vegetation area off of the roadway shoulder on its roof. Two occupants of the vehicle (an adult male and adult female) appeared to have both been ejected from the vehicle and were laying in the vegetation. They were both transported to Marian Medical Center by ambulance with major injuries. The female was later airlifted to a Santa Barbara Hospital.
It appears the vehicle was traveling northbound on Hwy 135 north of Waller lane when the driver lost control and left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle and occupants were located off the roadway just south of Miller street and Hwy 135.
The SMPD Traffic unit responded and are investigating the collision. SMPD is asking for the public’s assistance with any information.
