LOCATION: Flag Hill Veterans Park & 7th Street Park
SUSPECT(S): Anthony Synder-Lopez, 18-year-old resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S): City of Yucaipa
SUMMARY: On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 8:00 am, Deputy Ziemer responded to Flag Hill Veterans Park reference an unknown suspect who spray painted several areas of the park with graffiti. Deputy Bremer went to a similar vandalism call for service at 7th Street park with the same style graffiti and spray paint colors. The cost to repair the graffiti is $8000.
With the help of the Beaumont Police Department, Ziemer identifed the suspect as Anthony Synder-Lopez. Ziemer and a Beaumont detective located Lopez. Lopez was interviewed about the vandalism and after the interview, he was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center.
