    Community Outreach “Coffee with a Cop” Senior Center San Andreas
On May 11, 2022 members from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, Angels Camp Police Department and Sheriff’s Volunteers attended a community outreach meeting hosted by the Senior Center in San Andreas.   Coffee with a Cop allows for law enforcement members to interact with citizens to discuss issues and learn more about each other.  Citizens bring a wealth of knowledge about their community, particularly the problems unique to their neighborhoods.  The knowledge gained by law enforcement will assist in identifying problems and providing solutions that affect quality of life issues throughout our community.  In addition to the hospitality and delicious homemade cookies, the Senior Center also provided beautiful bouquets of flowers that were used as centerpieces during the event and agency representatives were asked to take these flowers back to the Dispatch Centers and offices to show gratitude to our law enforcement support staff as well.
