On Thursday, May 12, 2022 at approximately 0115 hours, the Readington Township Police stopped Ugur J. Subasi (27) out of New Hope, PA on Route 202 for speeding. While the officer was speaking to Subasi he smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the drivers breath. Subasi failed the officers field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI. Subasi was issued a summons for DWI, Refusal to Submit To Breath Test, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving and Speeding. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendantis presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
