The Sheriffs Office is hiring for all Sworn and non-Sworn positions. 

Have you always wanted to be a Sheriff’s Deputy?

How about a member of our Elite SWAT team?

What about a K-9 Handler?

Do you have experience working in a judicial courtroom and would like to be assigned to courts?

Do you have experience in investigations and want to be an Investigator?

Are you retired and would like to work part-time up to 25 hours a week?

Do you have an interest in being a Sheriff’s Correctional Officer?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions "WE WANT YOU".

The Sheriff’s Office will also be giving “Non”-Post Certified applicants the opportunity to attend Georgia’s Police Academy to become a Post-Certified Deputy Sheriff.

Please join us Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to complete the entire first phase of the two-phase hiring process.

Those attending will complete some or all of the following: Physical Agility Test, Orientation, Application, Background Booklet, and Oral interview.

The entire process typically can be completed within three hours. It is suggested you bring water and a snack. Part of this event will occur outside. Please bring a change of athletic gear for your agility test.
