* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of East Central Indiana and Southeast Indiana, including the following counties, in East Central Indiana, Fayette IN, Union IN and Wayne. In Southeast Indiana, Franklin IN.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 548 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Richmond, Connersville, Brookville, Centerville, Cambridge City, Liberty, Dublin, Oldenburg, Salem, Waterloo, Blooming Grove, Columbia, Metamora, Bunker Hill, Abington, Brownsville, Laurel, Milton, Greens Fork and East Germantown.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FAYETTE, IN ... FRANKLIN, IN ... UNION, IN ... WAYNE, IN

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams. Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
