SUSPECT(S): Dahn Cho, 41-Year-Old resident of Crestline
VICTIM(S): Confidential, Male
SUMMARY: On May 15, 2022, deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Twin Peaks Station, responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 23000 block of Pioneer Camp Road in the community of Crestline. The investigation revealed Dahn Cho shot the victim during an argument at a neighbor’s residence. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
After the shooting Cho retreated into his residence, just prior to the arrival of the deputies. Members from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Enforcement Detail, responded to the location and assisted in the efforts to apprehend Cho. After several hours of attempting to gain Cho’s surrender, he exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident. Cho was booked into the Central Detention Center in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
