11:35 AM- Officer Rivera conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Haley St and Jarvis Ave. Officer Rivera made contact and arrested a 31-year-old female out of Fremont. She was cited and released.
8:36 PM: Officer Riddles investigated two auto burglaries in the 35000 block of Newark Boulevard.

4:27 PM: Officer Torres made contact and arrested a 44-year-old male out of Newark in the 37000 block of Newark Blvd for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Sanita Rita Jail.

12:24 AM: Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 5000 block of Biddle Ave. Upon arrival, no injuries were reported but damage to property was discovered. This incident is not believed to be a random act. There is no belief of any on-going danger to the general public as a result of this incident. Incident is under investigation by the NPD Detective Unit.
9:03 AM: Officer Adami responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 37000 block of Walnut St. Officer Adami made contact and arrested a 40-year-old male for possession of multiple controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
11:24 AM: Officer Johnson observed a vehicle driving recklessly in the 5000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officer Johnson made contact and arrested a 21-year-old male for driving recklessly. He was cited and released and the vehicle was impounded for 30-days.  
1:08 PM: Officer Hernandez made contact and arrested a 44-year-old male for an outstanding warrant. He was issued a new court date and released.
7:38 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated three auto burglaries in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd.   
11:51 PM: Officer Losier and Officer Kapu responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 35000 block of Lido Blvd. Officers attempted to make contact but the vehicle fled from officers.

11:27 AM: Officer Hernandez and Officer Johnson made contact and arrested a 43-year-old male in the 7000 block of Mowry Ave for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, and possession of identity theft materials. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

7:16 PM: Officer Herrera investigated a burglary that occurred in the 6000 block of Mirabeau Dr.
7:20 PM: Officer Riddles made contact with a 25-year old female out of Newark in the area of Sycamore St and the Railroad tracks. She was arrested for two outstanding warrants. She was cited and released.

2:22 AM: Officers responded to a report of an in-progress burglary to a vehicle in the 7000 block of Gateway Blvd. The subject fled prior to officer arrival.
2:22 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 31-year old male out of Fremont for an outstanding warrant in the 7000 block of Gateway Blvd. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
10:21 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated a theft of a catalytic converter that occurred overnight in the 37000 block of Willow St.
2:11 PM: Officer Sanchez and Officer Taylor investigated a robbery that occurred in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. Loss was a wallet. Incident is being investigated.
8:17 PM: Officers responded to a report of an in-progress theft of catalytic converters in the 7000 block of Gateway Blvd. The subject fled prior to officer arrival.

8:57 AM: Officer Torres responded to investigate a report of mail theft in the 36000 block of Bettencourt St. Officer Torres made contact and arrested a 23-year old female for mail theft. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
5:31 PM:  Officer Cervantes investigated a cold burglary to a storage unit in the 6000 block of Clark Ave. Loss was a collection of documents, a bicycle, and other personal items.

1:52 PM: Officers responded to the 5000 block of Cedar Ct for a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 32-year old male and arrested him for an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.

2:13 AM: Hours: Officers made contact and arrested a 62-year old male out of Newark in the area of Cherry St at the railroad tracks for DUI. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

8:34 AM: Officers responded a report of a battery in the 36000 block of Blackwood Dr. Officers made contact with a 52-year old male nearby and arrested him for battery. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:25 AM: Officer Herrera made contact with a 34-year old male out of Hayward in the area of Mowry Ave and i880. He was ultimately arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.
6:13 AM: Officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave. Officers arrived on scene and found the front door had been forced open. Loss was $200. Investigation is ongoing.
7:11 AM: While conducting a security check, Officer jackman discovered a cold burglary in the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave. Loss was a cash register. Investigation is ongoing.    
7:01 AM: Officer Arroyo was also conducting security checks of the nearby areas when he discovered a cold burglary in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss was $200. Investigation is ongoing.
11:32 AM: Officer Arroyo investigated a report of a hit and run in the 8000 block of Mayhews Landing Rd.
12:18 PM: Officer Rivera conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Moores Ave and Cedar Blvd. Officer Rivera made contact with a 21-year old male out of Mountain View and arrested him for an outstanding warrant. He was issued a new court date and released.

5:03 AM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 5000 block of Cedar Ct. Officers made contact and arrested a 26-year old male subject nearby for vandalism. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:45 PM: Officer Sanchez responded to the 7000 block of Mowry Ave to investigate a report of a vehicle that had just been stolen. On 4/28 the vehicle was located in Fremont.
3:57 PM: Officer Arroyo investigated a battery in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd.
11:57 PM: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision in the 8000 block of Mahogany Pl. Officers made contact and arrested a 30-year old male out of Patterson for DUI.

11:43 AM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. Officer Sanchez made contact and arrested a 27-year old male for exhibiting a deadly weapon (not a firearm), making death threats against another person, and being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:31 PM: Officers investigated multiple burglaries of vehicles throughout the City.

10:47 AM: Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity described as a subject looking into vehicles and attempting to open door handles in the 34000 block of Newark Blvd. Officer Rivas made contact and arrested a 49-year old male out of Hayward for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
7:19 PM: Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 43-year old male out of Newark for an outstanding warrant in the 6000 block of Jarvis. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

11:52 AM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 5000 block of Abington Ct. Officer Hunter made contact and arrested a 23-year old female for battery. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
7:33 PM: Officers responded to a burglary to a vehicle that had just occurred in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave.

3:29 AM: Officers responded to a report of an alarm activation in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found a burglary that had just occurred. No loss was determined at this time. The team conducted security checks in the nearby areas.
8:48 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a report of burglary to a vehicle that occurred in the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave. Loss was a  backpack and a laptop.
10:18 PM: Officer Kapu was reported to a report of an in-progress burglary to a vehicle. Upon arrival, the subject fled. Investigation is ongoing.
 
Saturday, April 30, 2022
3:15 AM: Officer Quinonez made contact and arrested a 33-year old male out of Hayward in the 6000 block of Robertson Ave for DUI. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:20 PM: Officer Arroyo investigated a theft of a vehicle and a trailer in the 38000 block of Cedar Blvd that occurred between 3:00 – 6:00 AM.
10:10 PM: Officer Smith responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 38000 block of Primula Terrace. Officer Smith arrived on scene and found the front door ajar. He secured the location and is conducting further follow up.
10:15 PM: Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 42-year old male out of Fremont in the 6000 block of Thornton Ave for being too inebriate to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
11:01 PM: Officer Garica investigated the theft of a vehicle in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave.
