Ontario Police Press Release- Shooting Suspect Arrested
Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department has arrested Samuel Felipe in connection with a shooting that occurred yesterday during a robbery.
On May 16, 2022, shortly after 2:00 PM, officers from the Ontario Police Department responded to the 300 block of North Mountain Ave. reference the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male with an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
It was discovered during the investigation, Felipe brandished a firearm and demanded money from the cashier. Felipe shot the cashier, took money from the cash register, and fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Felipe, a 42-year-old male from Ontario, was quickly arrested at his residence approximately forty minutes after the incident. Felipe has been booked at the West Valley Detention Center on robbery and attempted murder charges.
