On Thursday, May 19th at 5:39 AM, APD officers were dispatched to 100 block of north Belleview Street on a fight. Officers were told that a female victim had been shot and that she was already at an area hospital. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries. The other party in this altercation is known to the victim. This case is being investigated by the Amarillo Police Department Violent Crimes Unit. No arrests have been made.
