The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Central St. Charles County in east central Missouri... Central St. Louis County in east central Missouri...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 455 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Ellisville, moving north at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Kirkwood, Clarkson Valley and Spirit of St. Louis Airport around 500 PM CDT. Town and Country, Des Peres, Frontenac, Warson Woods, Crystal Lake Park, Huntleigh, Westwood and Country Life Acres around 505 PM CDT. St. Peters, Chesterfield, Creve Coeur, Ladue, Olivette and Weldon Spring around 510 PM CDT. Maryland Heights, Overland, St. Ann, St. John, Woodson Terrace, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, Breckenridge Hills, Edmundson, Champ and Harvester around 515 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include St. Charles, Hazelwood, Bridgeton, Berkeley and Florissant. This also includes Route 66 State Park, Castlewood State Park, and First Missouri State Capitol Historic Site. This includes the following highways... Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 269 and 277. Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 224 and 231.
