Suspect Arrested on Numerous Charges After He Abused and 81-year-old Woman in Victorville

LOCATION: 16000 Block of Lacy Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Mark Greenard, 65-year-old Male Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Confidential 81-year-old Female Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, May 16, 2022, at 6:45 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Lacy Street in Victorville for a priority welfare check.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered an 81-year-old female with minor injuries who reported the suspect, Mark Greenard, had physically restrained her, slapped her, and prevented her from calling 911 for help.
Greenard was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for harm to an elder, damage to communications device with intent to prevent help, and false imprisonment.
