* At 1128 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Grantsville to 6 miles north of Oakland, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
* Locations impacted include... Cumberland, Frostburg, Westernport, Bel Air, La Vale, Fort Ashby, Lonaconing, Piedmont, Ridgeley, Cresaptown, Potomac Park, Wiley Ford, Eckhart Mines, Mount Savage, Rawlings, Ellerslie, Barton, Corriganville, Midland and Midlothian.
