Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 06:15PM

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Central Ocean County in southern New Jersey... East central Camden County in southern New Jersey... Southeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 509 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Tabernacle, or 21 miles east of Gloucester City, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 437 PM EDT, two and a half inch diameter hail was reported in Cherry Hill. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Medford, Tabernacle, Shamong, Tuckerton, Presidential Lakes Estates, Atco, Wharton State Forest, Bamber Lake, Atsion, Brookville, Warren Grove, Bass River State Forest, Leisuretowne, Chatsworth, Old Halfway, Penn State Forest, Medford Lakes and Ocean Acres. This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 55 and 60.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BURLINGTON, NJ ... CAMDEN, NJ ... OCEAN, NJ

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for southern New Jersey. This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive hail capable of producing significant damage.
