Deputies in Needles Serve a Search Warrant and Locate Drugs, Guns and Ammunition; Two Suspects in Custody



DATE/TIME: May 19, 2022, at approximately 8:21 a.m.

INCIDENT: Search Warrant

LOCATION: 100 block of Walnut St, Needles, CA

SUSPECT(S): Bradley Underwood, 45-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA. 
                        Troy Cameron, 42-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA.

VICTIM(S): State of California


SUMMARY: On Thursday, May 19, 2022, at approximately 8:21 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department served a search warrant in the 100 block of Walnut Street in Needles, CA.  During the search warrant, deputies located three firearms, (two were found loaded with bullets in the magazines), additional ammunition, suspected methamphetamines, scales, and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, Bradley Underwood was arrested for PC 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of Firearm and HS 11378 - Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale.  Underwood was transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $50,000.00.  Underwood remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, awaiting a court hearing.

At the time of the search warrant, Troy Cameron was at the residence.  During a parole search of his vehicle, deputies located several revolver speed loaders and additional ammunition.  Cameron was arrested for PC 30305(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of unlawful Firearms/Ammunition.  Cameron was transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $35,000.00.  Cameron remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, awaiting a court hearing.
