UPDATE regarding Winema Common: The incident involving the fire and barricaded subject has been resolved. When the subject was contacted there was a brief struggle with the police. Soon after, the subject had an emergency medical issue. The subject received emergency treatment at the scene by the Fremont Fire Department. The subject was then transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The Fremont Fire Department addressed any potential fire hazards at the location. This entire incident remains under investigation.
