INCIDENT: TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Friday, May 20, 2022, at about 9:12 P.M. Pomona Police Dispatch received a call of an injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Garey Avenue and Artesia Street. A witness reported the pedestrian walked into lanes of traffic for unknown reasons and was struck by a passing vehicle. When Police arrived on scene, they located a severely injured adult male down in lanes of traffic. LA County Fire Department arrived on scene and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
