Single Vehicle Injury Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that his office responded to a single vehicle injury crash on 05/21/2022 at approximately 1720 hours. This crash occurred on Church St. near Hathaway Rd., Volinia Township, Cass County, Michigan.
Deputies responded to a crash involving a single vehicle with Seth Lamarbe , 21 years old, of Marcellus, MI as the driver. Initial investigation showed, Lamarbe was traveling west on Church St. when he lost control from the loose gravel at the edge of the road. Lamarbe was unable to gain control of his vehicle, crossed the centerline, then struck a large tree and his vehicle overturned. Lamarbe was transported by Price Care Ambulance to Three Rivers Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Seatbelts were worn and drugs/ alcohol were not suspected factors in this crash. Speed is suspected as a factor in this crash. This crash remains under investigation
