Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer – The Township of Maple Shade is seeking a Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer for 12-15 hours per week, $24.00/hour. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the public and other employees. Must be well organized, detail oriented, and pro-active. Job responsibilities will include understanding, interpretation, and enforcement of the Property Maintenance Code, Litter, and Sign Regulations, conducting field inspections, issuing warnings or summonses where necessary and appearing in municipal court when required. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to send and receive emails. Applicant must be computer literate. UCC Building Inspector License or previous experience with general buildings/property inspections and work that would require knowledge of ordinance interpretation is preferred.
