Tragedy in Texas Elementary School

The South Brunswick Police Department is aware of the horrible tragedy which occurred today at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. We would like to send our sincere condolences to the victims of the mass shooting, along with their families and friends. 

"Our hearts go out to the victims of this horrific crime," said South Brunswick Mayor Charlie Carley. "Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this atrocious act of violence."

South Brunswick Township Police Chief Raymond J. Hayducka mirrored the mayor's sentiments, adding "The security of our schools and the safety of our young people is our highest priority. Although we have no reason to believe that there is any threat to our township, out of an abundance of caution, we will be increasing police presence in each of our schools."
