May 17th
Shoplift- 2000 El Cerrito Plaza (Ross)
Around 7:05 pm, an officer responded to Ross for a report of a theft. Employees advised the suspect grabbed an armful of pants ($180) and fled northbound from the store.

Around 8:54 pm, an officer responded to Ross for a report of a theft. Employees advised the suspect fled the store towards BART with several men’s denim jeans ($586).
May 18th
Domestic Violence Restraining Order- Portola Dr./Liberty St.
Around 12:38 am, officers responded to the area for a disturbance. Officers contacted a 44 year old male and 25 year old female and discovered they had a verbal argument. During a records check, officers discovered there was a valid domestic violence restraining order protecting the female from the male. The male was taken into custody without incident. After booking, the male was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
