Fire Weather Watch until 10:00PM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a Fire Weather Watch FOR HOT DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS, which is in effect from Friday morning through Saturday evening.

* Winds...North 5 to 10 mph with possible gusts to 15 mph in the afternoon.

* Timing...Friday morning through Saturday evening.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 15 to 25 percent.

* Temperatures...Daytime highs in the low to mid-70s.

* Impacts...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be possible.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ANCHORAGE
