Proactive Citizens Send Three to Jail on Burglary Charges
On May 15 at about 1:35AM a citizen activated 911 to report an unknown female attempting to break in to their residence.  Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Burson Rd, Burson, to initiate an investigation.
Upon deputies arrival, they located suspect Tammy Marie Youtsey, age 34, of San Andreas, on the ground with her hands secured behind her back with an extension cord. The homeowner explained the sound of breaking glass awoke them. When they investigated, they observed suspect Tammy Youtsey attempting to crawl through a damaged window. The resident yelled at the female to leave. However, she eventually made entry into the residence. The homeowner tried to prevent the suspect from continuing further into the house by grabbing her and pulling her to the nearest door. Suspect Tammy physically resisted the homeowner's efforts to get her out of the house. The homeowner was able to eventually subdue the suspect and move her outside onto the front porch. The homeowner locked the front door. Suspect Tammy walked to the back of the house and kicked in the rear door. The homeowner again attempted to physically restrain suspect Tammy. Again, the homeowner was able to subdue her and remove her from the house. The homeowner used an extension cord to secure her hands behind her back until law enforcement arrived.
