Santa Rosa Police search warrant leads to arrest and seizure of narcotics and cash.

In April of 2022, detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department’s Narcotics Team initiated an investigation into narcotics trafficking by a Sonoma County resident.  It was learned through the investigation that a male subject identified as 46-year-old Dionicio Carranza Villalobos was selling large amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine in the City of Santa Rosa and surrounding areas.  Villalobos was residing on Lazzini Ave in Santa Rosa.    
On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at approximately 1230 hours detectives from the SRPD Narcotic’s Team contacted and detained Villalobos at his residence pursuant to a search warrant.  All total the following items were located and seized as evidence:

  • 7 individual baggies containing 2 pounds of cocaine
  • 3 individual baggies containing over 1 pound of methamphetamine
  • 1/4 pound of heroin
  • $10,000 in cash
  • Ammunition
Items indicative of drug sales were also located inside the residence.  These items included packaging material, cell phones, and scales.
Villalobos was transported and booked at the Sonoma Jail for possession for sale of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and felony child endangerment.
