Man Struck By Hit-and-Run Driver
Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in East Farmingdale last night.
A white sedan traveling eastbound on Main Street turned right onto southbound Route 110 and struck a man, who was crossing Route 110 from Great Neck Road toward Main Street, at 9:01 p.m. The driver fled, continuing southbound on Route 110.
The victim, Benedicto Lopez-Ramirez, 41, of 928 Main St., Farmingdale, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
