Flash Flood Warning issued for Haywood County until 5 p.m. Residents in flood-prone areas should consider moving to higher ground. Additional bands of heavy rains are expected. This rain will cause more flooding. Make plans now for your safety. River levels in the Cruso and Lake Logan areas have risen to the Monitor Flooding stage. Emergency responders are closely monitoring the river. The Emergency Operation Center has been activated and additional resources have been requested in the event of significant flooding. A State of Emergency has been declared for Haywood County.
