* Flash Flood Warning for... South Central Henderson County in western North Carolina... Greenville County in upstate South Carolina...
* Until 800 PM EDT.
* At 421 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain continue to develop and move north into Greenville County. Storms which moved across the area already today have resulted in local 2 inch accumulations along and south of the I-85 corridor. Motorists are advised to be very wary of road conditions during the evening communte as many streams are rising across the city of Greenville, the Golden Strip and the I-85 and I-385 corridors. The warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
