* At 532 PM EDT, So far today about 1.5 inches of rain had fallen countywide and thunderstorms producing additional heavy rainfall will overspread the county this evening. An additional inch or two of rain is likely this evening. Streams and river are already running high if not near bankfull, especially across greater Hendersonville. Expect developing high water conditions and flooding of low-lying areas as the evening wears on. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
