On May 26, 2022, at approximately 8 PM, SVPD Officers served a Felony arrest warrant at the home of Michael Eaves, a 53-year-old Simi Valley resident. Upon contacting Mr. Eaves, he refused to comply with the officers’ lawful orders while armed with a knife.  A less lethal Sage and police K9 were utilized, and Mr. Eaves was taken into custody.  Mr. Eaves was transported to a local area hospital to treat his injuries.  One officer was treated for a minor injury sustained during the arrest.
