UPDATE: FCPD and CAT Team searching for suspect near Beaver St./ Valley View St. 
Officers from the Forest City Police Dept. and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team (C.A.T.) are in the area of Beaver St., Valley View St. and Matheny Farm area searching for a suspect that resisted officers and then fled the area. The suspect is shown in the picture below and was last seen wearing black and white clothing and jeans.
There is no immediate threat to the public. If you see this suspect, call 911 immediately.
