As a Reminder… The City of Ferris, as of March 2022, issues solicitor identification and safety vests. Each permitted solicitor will be issued a 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 vest visibly displaying the City-issued permit on the front and with a City of Ferris logo and “Solicitor” on the back. Solicitor permits are processed and issued by our Building & Permitting Office. All solicitors will undergo a criminal background check before their permit is approved - this is for the protection of the community. If the person at your door is soliciting without a vest, please call the Ferris Police Department at 972-544-2225.
