Red Flag Warning until 10:00PM Sunday
The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning below 6500 feet for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from noon to 10 PM MDT Sunday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 207 Southwest Colorado Lower Forecast Area below 6500 feet.
* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will become favorable for easy ignition and rapid spread of fires due to low relative humidity and strong gusty winds.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHWEST COLORADO LOWER FORECAST AREA
