INCIDENT: PC 207 - Kidnapping
LOCATION: 7200 Block of Airway Avenue in Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Giselle Berreondo, 34-year-old Female Resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): 14-year-old Female
SUMMARY: On Saturday, May 28, 2022, deputies assigned to the Morongo Basin Station responded to a subject disturbance at the 7200 block of Airway Avenue, Yucca Valley. The suspect, identified as Giselle Berreondo, entered a nearby residence uninvited and attempted to take the juvenile victim against their will.
Berreondo forcibly grabbed and dragged the victim through the residence. Berreondo was stopped by the victim's mother, who heard the commotion. Berreondo refused to let go of the victim and assaulted the victim's mother and boyfriend as they freed the victim from Berreondo's grasp. Berreondo tried to leave the area but was detained by arriving deputies.
Berreondo was arrested for PC 207- Kidnapping and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail where she remains in custody on $325,000 bail.
