On Friday, May 27, 2022, at approximately 6:48 PM, Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Dairy Avenue regarding an assault. Upon arrival, Officers contacted a 15-year-old confidential victim. An investigation began and the victim reported recently being physically assaulted by Kenzie Aguilar. The victim stated they have had a sexual relationship with Kenzie for approximately 3 years. Corcoran Police Department Detectives responded and authored a search warrant for Kenzie’s residence in the 700 block of Dairy Avenue. Kenzie was arrested at the Corcoran Police Department and Officers served the search warrant at his residence. Items of evidence regarding this investigation were located as well as an AR15 type rifle. The rifle was not compliant to the current laws and did not depict a serial number. Ammunition and a high-capacity magazine were also located during the service of the search warrant. Kenzie is a previously convicted felon and is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms and ammunition. Kenzie was booked into the Kings County Jail for lewd acts with a child 14-15 years of age, child abuse, continuous sexual abuse of a child, felon in possession of firearm/ammunition, and other related charges.
