Deputies Arrest Fontana Man in Victorville for Carrying a Loaded Firearm

LOCATION: 14000 Block of US Hwy 395, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Andrew Herrera, a 23-year-old, Resident of Fontana
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Monday, May 30, 2022, at 2:56 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to the 14000 block of US Hwy 395 for reports of a man with a gun.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted the suspect, Andrew Herrera, standing near his vehicle. During a seach of the vehicle, deputies recovered ammunition, and a loaded handgun. Herrera was arrested and booked into High Desert Detention Center for carrying a loaded firearm in a public place and carrying a firearm-not the registered owner.
