Homicide Detectives are assisting Baldwin Park Police Department regarding an investigation surrounding a death a of male Hispanic adult at approximately 1:30 pm. Baldwin Park PD responded to the 3400 block of Cosbey Avenue in Baldwin Park regarding a hit and run, vehicle vs. pedestrian.
Upon their arrival, they located two victims of a hit and run, a female Hispanic 15 years old and a male Hispanic 16 years old were struck by a vehicle. They were transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
During their investigation they learn the suspect crashed his vehicle into an unoccupied parked vehicle and fled the hit and run scene on foot. Family members attempted to detain the suspect short distance away, at which time the suspect stabbed the victim, a male Hispanic 35 years old, in the upper torso. The suspect fled that location on foot but was eventually detained by El Monte Police Officers several blocks away. The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The male adult victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
