Bicyclist Succumbs to Injuries After Traffic Collision with Two Vehicles

LOCATION: Foothill Boulevard & Baker Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
INVOLVED PARTY(S): Driver #1: 44-year-old male, Rancho Cucamonga resident.
Driver #2: 27-year-old male, Fontana resident
Bicyclist, Timothy Warwick, 57-year-old male, Upland Resident (Deceased)
SUMMARY: On May 30, 2022, deputies with the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a traffic collision. The collision, involving two vehicles and a bicycle, occurred on Foothill Boulevard, near Baker Avenue.
Through investigation, deputies determined driver #1 and driver #2 were both traveling eastbound on Foothill Boulevard, toward Baker Avenue, when they struck the bicyclist. The Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department responded to render aid to the bicyclist. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The cause of the collision is being investigated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).
