On May 31st, at about 4:10 pm, San Leandro Police Officers were sent to investigate a vehicle collision in the area of Eden Road and Doolittle Drive.  The vehicle collision was reported to be between a Black Honda and a Tractor Trailer.  When officers arrived on the scene, they located an unresponsive woman inside the driver seat of the Honda.  The driver was pronounced at the scene.  Traffic Officers from the San Leandro Police Department responded to assume this investigation.  A passenger in the Acura was transported to an area hospital for care and is expected to survive. 

The driver of the Tractor Trailer remained at the scene, was uninjured, and is cooperating with this investigation.

Preliminary, it appears speed was a factor in this vehicle collision.
