Chino Hills Theft Suspect Arrested in Riverside
DATE/TIME: May 31, 2022, 4:00 p.m.
INCIDENT: Vehicle Burglary
LOCATION: 4700 block of Monticello Avenue, Riverside
SUSPECT(S): Travis Joseph Davis, 35-year-old resident of Riverside.
VICTIM(S): Dirk Deremo, 33-year-old resident of Windsor, Colorado
SUMMARY: On Monday, April 24, 2022, a band was staying the night at the Chino Hills Hotel when their music equipment was stolen from the back of their locked truck. Detectives from the Chino Hills Station investigated the theft and later identified Travis Joseph Davis as a suspect in the theft.
On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Station, Multiple Enforcement Team (MET), worked together with officers from the Riverside Police Department, Post Release Accountability Compliance Team (PACT), and served a search warrant at Davis' residence in Riverside. Stolen property was recovered from the residence. Davis was arrested for the theft.
