Second person dies from shooting that occurred on October 30, 2021 
On May 27, 2022, Jesse Sanchez (19) died from his injuries sustained in the shooting that occurred on October 30, 2021, in the 400 block of Las Animas Avenue in Gilroy. Sanchez was one of four victims shot during the incident. 18-year-old Michael Daniel Zuniga-Macias was pronounced deceased at the scene, while two other victims subsequently recovered from their injuries.
