Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station is aware of a threat made towards Canyon High School. SCV deputies are working together with William S. Hart school district officials and conducting a thorough school threat assessment at this time. As a precaution, SCV Sheriff’s Station will be providing additional law enforcement presence at both the Canyon High School campus and the Canyon High School Graduation.
Anyone with information regarding the threat is asked to contact SCV Sheriff’s Station at 661-260-4000 and school administrators. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by visiting www.LACrimeStoppers.org.
