The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  West central Rutherford County in western North Carolina...
  East central Henderson County in western North Carolina...
  Polk County in western North Carolina...

* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 432 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest
  of Columbus, or 5 miles north of Saluda, moving east at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hendersonville, Columbus, Flat Rock, Saluda, Mill Spring,
  Edneyville, Lake Adger, Dana, East Flat Rock and Tryon.
