Full Notification

Late this morning, June 3, 2022, Monroe Township PD in Gloucester County, New Jersey advised our Police Department  that one of their School Official's received an email from an unknown source threatening acts of violence to Schools in their Jurisdiction. Monroe Police Department in Gloucester County contacted our Police Department to advised  of the incident.
 
While this incident did not occur in our Township, all precautionary measures have been taken.  The Superintendent of Schools has been notified, as well has the Schools’ Security Director.  This Department also increased Police presence around the all Township Schools up until each School’s early dismissal. 
 
The Schools’ Security Director advised there  will be increased security at this evening’s Seniors' Event.
