FCPD Officers requests the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile: UPDATE: Juvenile has been located. 
Officers from the Forest City Police Dept. were called to a residence on M.D. Blanton Rd. earlier this morning for a report of a runaway juvenile. The missing juvenile is Brooklyn Alyssa Anderson. She is a 15-year-old white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 197 lbs., with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Brooklyn was last known to be at the M.D. Blanton address around 11:00 p.m. on June 2. It is unknown what Brooklyn was wearing. She may possibly be in the area of Simpsonville, SC.

UPDATE:
Juvenile has been located. Forest City Police would like to thank the NC SBI and SC SLED agencies along with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office. A collaborative effort that resulted in the safe return home of Brooklyn Anderson.
