Narrative:
On June 2, 2022, detectives with the Camarillo Investigation Bureau completed an months long investigation involving a commercial burglary at a local country club.
 
On April 21, 2022, detectives assigned to the Camarillo Investigations Bureau began investigating a commercial burglary, which occurred during the morning hours of April 20, 2022.  The business sustained an approximately $6,000 loss in merchandise and several thousand dollars in damage.
 
Camarillo Detectives were able to gather evidence and identify the two suspects as Alfonso Daniels and Benjamin Chloupek.  Detectives learned Alfonso Daniels and Benjamin Chloupek were arrested on April 26, 2022, during the commission of a separate burglary at a country club in West Covina.  Alfonso Daniels pled guilty to the charges in Los Angeles County and was released days later.  Benjamin Chloupek is still in custody in Los Angeles County jail facing several other criminal violations.
 
On May 30, 2022, Camarillo Detectives located Alfonso Daniels in the city of Alhambra and arrested him for violation of California Penal Code Section 459 – Commercial Burglary and 182(a)(1) – Conspiracy.  Alfonso Daniels was released on a $30,000 bond on May 31, 2022, with a future court date.  A warrant of arrest is being submitted to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office for Benjamin Chloupek.
