INCIDENT: PC 422(a) Criminal Threats
LOCATION: 56609 Little League Drive, Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): 15-year-old male, resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): 14-year-old male, resident of Yucca Valley
SUMMARY: On Thursday, June 02, 2022, deputies responded to Tri-Valley Little League Field in Yucca Valley, for the report of suspicious circumstances. It was reported a 15-year-old male was believed to have a firearm in his backpack. It was also reported he threatened another juvenile.
Through investigation, it was learned the suspect was in possession of a BB gun and a survival-type knife in his backpack. There were also substantiated threats made during the same time frame.
On Friday, June 3rd, 2022, deputies assigned to the case arrested the15-year-old suspect. He was issued a citation for PC 422(a) Criminal Threats and was released to his family. A parallel investigation was also conducted to ensure the suspect had no access to firearms or other dangerous weapons.
